Proceedings of the 6nd All-Russian workshop

“Aerophysics and physical mechanics of classical and quantum systems”

In this issue the reports Sixth All-Russian workshop "AFM-2012", held 4-7 December 2012 by the A.Ishlinsky Institute for Problems in Mechanics RAS, on the development of computer models and software systems designed for research of nonlinear mechanics and nonequilibrium solid media and a new generation of computational methods and algorithms for solving the Navier-Stokes equations for advanced hypersonic aircraft.

Some of the work is devoted to the presentation of the results of experimental studies carried out in the Institute of Mechanics, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Academy of Sciences in IPMech in scientific programs to study nonequilibrium radiation of strong shock waves and the study of unsteady shock wave configurations arising near the structural elements of hypersonic aircraft.
